Mindsets and Heartsets

The saying no man is an island is true, for it is impossible to live alone. For this reason all humans have a relationship.

7 billion people, 7 billion different minds, 7 billion different hearts, and 7 billion different desires.

The problem with people’s relationships is working it out, because one way or another, these number would always contradict each other because of one’s desire. Very many people have given insights about working it out or even perfecting relationships.

I would just like to add one.

Relationship is not self-centered receiving but sacrificial giving.

The different desires of people are the reason of conflict. And this self desire justifies self worth. That one’s life is above anyone thus deserved better.

But a life that desires better will never end and so will conflicts. For always, somehow or other, a person would always seem to deserve better.

The only way to end this is to not to ask what better do I deserve but do I really deserve anything…

Fighting attitude

Being still is different from doing nothing. A quote from the movie remake of karate kid. If I remember the exact phrase.

A person can really do something and yet be still.

Because being still is an internal thing while doing nothing is an external thing.

You may fight externally but lack peace and security internally or just do nothing and still lack peace and security.

You may fight externally and have peace and security internally which is the real meaning of being still.

In the fight for survival, persons who are still wins…

Only Hero worth telling

Every generation has a story to tell. And the best thing about it, and a cool thing about it, is having to tell the next the best of your generation.

I had a chance to tell one.

I have a friend (the younger generation) who likes to skate. As for me, who had friends of the same generation that loves skating, we have this common name for us, for this name is the game itself.

Mr. Rodney Mullen…

I asked this friend if he already watched the videos of mr. Mullen, and I was asking this without special intention but just to have a conversation, for I thought I may not connect to their generation.

but after many days… I stayed with this friend of mine’s place, and before we sleep, we watched at youtube. We watched mr. Mullen’s videos. It was really no big deal for me. But he then said, “I’m really grateful that you told me about mr. Mullen, I have even told him to my friends and they we’re really amazed.”

For them, they have discovered a legend, a history maker that is not known to their generation. Someone that they really hoping for, a hero. That’s what I really felt and saw.

Every scape of life, has a legend, has hero. And every new generation needs one.

As for me, I have a hero, and He is basically the best hero.

He just conquered everything. For He conquered the number one problem of this world, the number one…

And this is the hero I would never hold back, because I can’t.

The First Impression That Lasts

This would be my first post. The attitude I desire is the reason for me to write this (and even use word press). And that is to step up to another level of what I may be doing this hour. Yes improving, growing, maturing, principles that are always needed to acquire. But most of the time, the motivation for this is only when its demanded.

(at this moment, I am considering to stop these blog for I think can’t finish this.)

Because of this very thought that I want to stand up, for most of the time, in every area of our life improvements are necessary, for the demands of the world won’t wait for us.

(at this moment. I don’t have any more thoughts to continue)

And this thought is the reason why I need to continue writing. To push myself, to never let excuse be my win but to go and fail, but fail forward.

And this is what I think the attitude I want to last in me, and that is to never stop moving forward…

I just remembered my tag line in my last campaign for a student government position.
